About Me
Ottawa, ON, Canada
Hi, I’m Jennifer. I am a certified Trauma-informed Coach. I offer clients a warm, attentive and supportive space of non-judgment to safely explore and create new possibilities and futures that align with exactly where and who you want to be.
When not working with clients in private practice, I am an Assistant Professor in the School of Social Work at the University of Ottawa where I teach students and conduct research about intergenerational and historic trauma. As an intergenerational survivor, myself, I understand that healing and growth require respect, vulnerability, courage and compassion. These are also the four cornerstones of my practice.
While I am keen on working with a wide-range of clients, my areas of special interest include working with clients who want to find and use their unique voice; who want to develop compassion in the place of shame; who want to uncover and embody their personal strengths; and who are looking to reclaim their culture. This can be some of the most rewarding and important work and the right people assisting you as you walk your path can make all the difference.
I’d love to walk with you as you lead us along that path. I have availability for coaching sessions in the afternoon and evening on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
