Andrea Oberan

The TICCA training was a deeply meaningful and grounding experience. It offered a thoughtful balance between theory and practice, while creating a space where reflection, curiosity, and honest conversations were truly welcomed. I gained a clearer understanding of trauma-informed principles and how to apply them in a way that feels both ethical and practical. The learning has strengthened my confidence in supporting others with greater awareness, presence, and respect for individual pace and context. I would highly recommend this training to anyone who wants to deepen their understanding of people and bring more compassion and intention into their work.

Karen Poirier

Moving The Human Spirit has been a completely positive experience. From my initial inquiry phone call with Susan Hogarth to Brad facilitating our last class in TICCA and lets not forget the biweekly emails from Libby keeping us up to date with our class lessons and answering the plethora of questions we posed; I experienced nothing but professionalism, kindness and helpfulness. The message was clear that they want you to succeed not only in the training but long after in your coaching career. I am forever grateful for the connections made not only with the facilitators but to my fellow students as well. Together, we are going to do great things in the coaching world!

Graduate – Tennessee, USA

I entered MTHS with no background or experience in coaching – in fact, my preconceptions were mostly incorrect! The course allowed me to see the Client as The Definitive Expert on his/ her own life and to help them draw on their own internal wisdom and sensibilities in approaching solutions. The experience of coaching and being coached was transformational: 1) As someone being coached, I was amazed at the outcomes that came and 2) As a coach I heard to hold space, listen and discover breakthroughs with my clients (fellow students). So much was learned and accomplished in a short time – and the cohort group has become a rich resource for my future coaching.

The TICC is completely aligned with the ICF guidelines, core competencies, and code of ethics. As an ICF-certified coach, I found this program very rich in trauma-related information and exercises, that will for sure add great value to my practice. It was also a very rich experience to have shared this course with coaches, almost all of them with long experiences in their practices.

Burcu B

The TICC training provided a clear, structured, and practical framework for trauma-informed coaching. What stood out most was the integration of nervous system science, ethical scope of practice, and authentic coach presence. The program deepened my confidence in holding regulated space, working within the Window of Tolerance, and supporting clients without overstepping into therapy. It is a grounded, well-designed training that balances theory with application and personal integration. I would recommend it to any coach who wants to work responsibly and effectively with trauma-informed principles.

Steven Loehndorf

This program is amazing. It turned out it was as much personal growth as it was professional. I had no idea what I was getting in to but it was more than I expected from both of those perspectives. All the instructors and facilitators and support staff have proved to have an open door policy and are pro-active in keeping students informed of deadlines. Great energy in this team! Thank you all!

Level 1 Program Graduate

The Trauma Informed Coach Training is a thorough program for anyone looking to become a coach and learn crucial concepts in supporting clients with a trauma history. With its high-quality content, clear instructions, and strong emphasis on practical application, this is a well-rounded program that stands out among other options in the field. The course excels in balancing theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience, offering numerous opportunities for coaching. What particularly impressed me was the program’s focus on building empathy and creating a safe space for clients, skills that are invaluable in trauma-informed coaching.

Roger Kenneth Marsh

The Trauma-Informed Coach training takes coaching to a deeper, more sensitive and transformational level than a typical coach training process or program. Being able to skillfully work in sensitive areas with a client is an incredibly powerful skill to develop. Having the confidence “to go there” with your client, knowing you can hold the space and coach toward a healing and empowering outcome gives me as a coach a lot more flexibility and capacity to support my clients.

Dina Saalisi

The TICCA training surpassed my expectations. The course was lively, informative, and deep and I felt engaged and curious throughout the twelve weeks. This learning will support me in my continued work with and writing about, how to transcend trauma. This course is vital to my development as a coach and author, as the studies both complement and enhance my evolved views on trauma recovery. To witness one another, as coaches, in this intimate, enlightening format, is a joy and an honor, that brings us more fully into our roles as mentors to others.

Laura Stepnicka

TICC-B was one of the best decisions I made for my personal and professional growth. The cohort and facilitators provided a safe, trusting and empowering space that I have not experienced elsewhere, especially in such a short period of time. I cannot recommend TICC enough to others remotely considering pursuing a coaching certification, or even just for their own personal evolution and growth.

Phoebe Jonas CPCC, APC, CARC

I really enjoyed the TICC training. Other coaching programs either touch on trauma or, perhaps rightly, don’t address it at all in a substantive way. the tools and exercises were clear, specific, effective, and meaningful -I’m so glad to have been able to add them to my toolbox. The TICC course will help me be a better coach, citizen, and person.

Trauma-Informed Coach training was a foundational training program that reinforced a holistic perspective on personal growth and development. Learning an embodied approach to coaching is the future of healing and I believe creates sustained change. Upon completing this training, I am walking away with tangible tools, methods, and competencies that will equip me to serve a diverse range of clients.

Katherine Poco-Enders

I recently completed the Trauma-Informed Coaching Certification Basics course with Moving The Human Spirit, and it was a profoundly enriching experience. The program delves deep into understanding trauma’s impact and equips participants with effective strategies to support clients on their healing journeys. The facilitators create a warm and engaging learning environment, encouraging open dialogue and personal growth. The course structure, including interactive sessions and breakout groups, fosters a sense of community and allows for practical application of concepts. I wholeheartedly recommend this training to anyone seeking to enhance their coaching skills with a trauma-informed approach.

Anthony Goolsby

The instructors in this program go far beyond what you would normally expect from a training course. Their commitment to the students is real, personal, and incredibly supportive.

During the course, I ended up being hospitalized for about a week and then spent three more weeks in a rehabilitation center. The understanding and flexibility the instructors showed me during that time made it possible for me to stay on track and continue with the program. Their encouragement meant more to me than I can fully express.

What surprised me most about this course is that it’s not just professional training. In many ways, it’s also a lesson in human kindness, respect, and being truly present with others.

As a member of the clergy, I was especially moved by how clearly the program shows what love in action looks like—through listening, compassion, and genuine care for people. Honestly, I think this kind of training should be taught in schools. The skills and mindset it develops are valuable for anyone, not just those who want to become professional coaches.

I highly recommend this course to anyone considering it. Even if you never plan to coach professionally, it’s a truly life-changing experience.
