About This Course

Trauma-informed practice refers to an approach that recognizes the widespread impact of trauma on individuals and seeks to create a safe and supportive environment for healing and growth. This approach is integrated into various fields, such as healthcare, education, therapy, and social work. “Conversations” in this context refers to how people communicate within a trauma-informed framework – fostering open and empathetic dialogues that consider the potential effects of trauma on individuals.

Who is this training for?

Community Leaders, including parents, teachers, social workers or anyone working with children/young adults and vulnerable populations. Individuals and professionals who want to increase their skills, tools, and knowledge in the area of Trauma-Informed Practices to support their clients, teams, and communities.

No previous Trauma-Informed training or experience is required.

Course Hours

Trauma-Informed Practices and Conversations is 18 hours, consisting of:

  • 6 three-hour modules of live online teaching

Register for Trauma-Informed Practices & Conversations

For class registration simply follow these steps:

  • ​Click the button below to access the enrollee contract.
  • Fill in the start date of the Trauma-Informed Practices & Conversations program you wish to enroll in, along with all required fields and waivers.
  • Sign your completed enrollee contract.

When your enrollee contract is receive an invoice will be sent to your e-mail address. Please process your payment transaction upon receipt of your invoice.
