About Me
Hi there, my name is Abi. I’m a writer, editor, consultant, and coach navigating the good life with my favorite people on the planet: my husband and two kids. I was born in Nigeria, raised in Colorado, and for the last 17 years, I’ve lived on an island in the Pacific Northwest.
I believe we each have a story—to live, to share, to tell. But sometimes our stories take unexpected turns that can change or even stop their course. What then?
This question brought me to Washington State. To Penn’s Master of Applied Positive Psychology (MAPP) program. To trauma-informed coaching. It also brought me to my knees.
And yet, I believe we are whole and inherently good, wiser than we may realize, and more than the worst thing that has happened to us. As such, my work centers around revision and reclamation. I lead weekly betrayal-trauma recovery groups for women and will soon complete my training for certification as an APSATS Certified Partner Coach.
Wherever you are in your story, I look forward to working with you.
