About Me
In my practice, I bring together trauma-informed coaching and anthropology to explore how our relationships, cultural environments, and deeply learned assumptions shape the way we experience ourselves, our bodies, and our lives.
My own journey through complex trauma and seropositive rheumatoid arthritis profoundly shaped this approach. After conventional approaches did not bring the change I was seeking, I began looking beyond the individual to the cultural and relational contexts in which distress develops and is maintained. Anthropology showed me that many ways of living, relating, healing, and making meaning exist beyond the assumptions we often take for granted.
I support people navigating autoimmune conditions, complex trauma, and periods of profound personal transformation. Together, we investigate relational patterns, cultural beliefs, emotional responses, and nervous-system activation that may be keeping a person caught in cycles of stress or defense. Rather than imposing a predefined model of wellbeing, I help clients widen their field of possibilities and discover ways of relating and living that create greater coherence, agency, safety, and vitality.
My work draws on psychological and medical anthropology, trauma-informed and somatic coaching, crosscultural perspectives, and my own lived experience of recovery. I see healing not simply as an individual process, but as something that unfolds within relationships, communities, and the cultural worlds we inhabit.
