Michelle Lauren Anderson is a childhood burn survivor, and author of Survivor not Victim, Stories Behind my Scars and the Path to Thriving where she shares her story of moving from victim, survivor, to thriver, and Survivor not Victim, Path to Thriving Workbook where she equips, and educate the reader on their journey to victim, survivor, to thriver. She specializes in working with those with trauma-based disabilities, attachment and developmental trauma.

Michelle started her career in Equine Assisted Therapies and Activities teaching those with a variety of disabilities and trauma for nearly six years. She trains service dogs and her own horses. In addition, Michelle has her Bachelors of Animal Science, Master of Arts in Strategic Leadership, and Master of Business Administration in Finance and works as 4-H Program Operations Specialist in Minnesota's central region.
