About Me
Rome, Italy
Yuki has over 20 years of international experience in the private sector, UN, and NGOs. She has worked in 19 countries throughout Africa, Asia-Pacific, North America, and Europe. Having managed humanitarian projects in hardship duty stations, she strongly believes in the importance of staff wellness and career development support.
As a coach, Yuki mainly supports humanitarian, human rights, international development, and peacekeeping professionals (currently working in these sectors but also those who left those sectors). These professions often work in remote, insecure environments and are exposed to traumatic events such as kidnapping, physical assaults, armed attacks, war, rapes, sexual assaults, torture, riots, death of colleagues, etc. (in addition to common causes of workplace trauma that may happen, such as racism, bullying, intimidation, poor work-life boundaries, job insecurity etc.). If they work in the field, away from family, they may have a lot going on back home (separation, divorce, death of loved ones, etc.), too. Partnering with her clients, Yuki takes a holistic approach, focusing on their long-term career/life satisfaction. Services are also open to people in other professions. She currently offers coaching services in English and Japanese.
Yuki is an ICF-Certified Coach, Erickson Certified Professional Coach (ECPC), and Trauma-Informed Certified Coach (TICC). She completed the following trauma-related training:
Yuki is a cancer survivor. She is passionate about supporting people going through challenging professional/personal transitions.
